but honestly man you could have cleaned up the recording at least a little bit.
nice double kicks.
but you used next to no cymbals, be a little more creative when it comes to the cymbals there, thast where most of the talent a drummer uses is there.

all im getting from this though is that you were a little too happy when u got yer double kicks and you practiced one hell of a lot with them.

so good double kicks, work a little more on the actual skill.

The cymbals were a pain. All the way through, I played my hihat along with the drums. But I had to cut down the quality so the file size could fit. That blocked out the hihats. Thanks anyway.

Anywyas, now for a real review.....
the bass to me in the begginging seemed kind of....cheap. i dont know how to explain it. the bells were nice. the drums filter was very, how do i put it, not really unique, its been used, but wow. u took it to a new lvl. When the full drums kicked in, i wanted to make a new song right then and now.

bam.

i was inspired. amazing man.
the guitar was very well written, beautiful harmonics and strings. the strings were very propelling. made the song very....firm and full if u kow what i mean. when the beat stopped, i almost cryed.

in fact, i like it! wow, since im a drummer, what i look for in a song is the drums.
but, this song made the guitar stand out very nicely. great guitar work! now about the drums....
do u have another snare sample that u could have usded instead of using the same one over ad over again? just to make the drums sound more than real?
other than the snare, i could say that this song sounds like it was reall recorded(drum wise)

to be honest, when u reviewed me shit and u told me to review yers, i thought that youd be a total n00b. but damn man. this is amazing. great piano work, simple but nice flowing drums, i olike the reverb. but if u wanna make this more like a loop dont make the tamborine kick in. have ot going the whole the way through. Add a bassline man, trust me, u hear that shit when u have 2 12 inch subs hooked up to yer somputer.
So make a nice bassline on a bass guitar or something.
great job, i think that u most defiantaly will get prtal front page with this.

very nice sounding

the bells gave it a very nice sound to it, and since its 2:30 i cant really play it loud so i cant hear if u but a good solid bassline in there. the arp is nice, but the beat is lacking. ill tell u how, too. the kick isn't solid enough, the clap breaks are in really weird places and u should have a nice soft crash at the begginging. and an open hi hat, u need that too.

I agree the kick is too soft, but the claps are not in weird places, just not in the quarter note places, they are syncopated or in a roll. Also I didn't think it needed an open hi hat, I have a pretty intricate hat pattern running that I guess isn't too audible. Soft crash at the beginning would be a good idea though, yea. Thanks for the constructive criticism, I'm glad you enjoyed the song and thought I did a good job. Anyway if you haven't heard the song yet... it's further down the list. :)

ok im liking the smooth techno beat, this really in the begginging doens't fall under trance, its more like infected mushroom shit. and i love infected mushroom, you should check them out. u might get inspired, they specialise in mostly acid and psycadelic trance. That little main lead that u always use is good, BUT, for some reason in this song i find it a little overpowering in the begginging. I like the fact that near the end of the song u have a new snare roll! very nice, gavce it smoothness. Thats what trance is about dude, and u gave it that. The pads in the backround are nice, they give it that little feel, y'now.
now i dont know if u used a crash or not, but it sure ain't powerful enuf if there IS one. The crash is supposed to define the breakdown, the buildup and the chorus and final breakdown from each other. it was good and very smoother transistions, but need a litle more powerful prgressions and a big, powerful, crash at the main chorus.
i hope i covered everything.
